Best place for traditional mochi and wagashi. Everything is handmade and so beautiful! I especially like the sakura mochi they make. I think the rice they use is top quality.
LOVE the mochi here!! My favorite flavors are the peach and the coffee. So nice and soft. Super friendly and lovely staff too. Will always come here for my mochi needs!
If you like mochi, you’ll love this place. It’s old-school handcrafted, sweet and soft. Each piece is about a bite, or two, and they look so amazing you almost hate to eat them. J-style food art. The boxes are great for bringing to dinner as a desert, but if you do that, get a few for yourself, too. I’m not a good person to ask which is good, great, or best because I haven’t had one yet that I didn’t like. Ok… maybe the Botan are my favorite.
The mochi here is super sweet and soft. It’s handmade old school style. Bring Cash and get here early. I got here around 10am and took the last peach. The art was beautiful I honestly didn’t want to eat it. I got about 2-3 bites out of each Mochi, I had to savor the taste. There’s free parking on the street after 8am. Parking: There is 2 hours free street parking outside the shop after 8am
One of my favorite shops in the entire LA area. Probably one of my favorite in the entire world. Most delicious wagashi of the west coast.
They will sell out before they close, so you have to get here early.
