Chicken + Beer (Gate D5)

I’ve eaten at a lot of restaurants in ATL airport and most of them are subpar and the service is terrible. I work for a very customer service oriented company so I know what great service looks like. Our server Monica was amazing and exemplified EXCELLENT customer service in every way possible! Her manager Lance was great too and walked around checking on customers often to see if they needed anything. The food is very good here and the BEST I’ve ever had at ATL airport and I travel 60% of the year so I spend a lot of time in ATL airport. I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to based on my experience here. I don’t fly out of D gates often but if I have a long layover I’ll be making my way back to Chicken+Beer!

Food was great, and so were the drinks! Service was great as well.

First time eating here, not disappointed and the price was par with outside restaurants cost. Chicken & waffles, chicken seasoned just right and not dry as white meat can be at times. Catfish sandwich fried just right...and food came out piping hot. Hosts and workers pleasant and service was timely. Definitely would eat here again.

Let’s just say I’ve gone to the airport extra early to come eat here before my flights that aren’t even in this terminal. The 2-piece dark meat meal is made to perfection everyone! -the chicken thighs are tender and seasoned to perfection with just the right amount of crunch on the outside -the tater tots are by far the greatest you’ll ever have anywhere -the biscuit melts in your mouth -the mac and cheese is pretty great as well Someone really needs to tell Ludacris (the rapper/actor owns this place) to open up a location outside of the airport!
