On point. Not a bad dish in the house. Quality and insanely delicious. Great patio and bar up front.

Fish tacos. That is all!!! Edit - the oysters… pretty awesome! Great quality and service to match. Bar up front has good selection of beers and whiskey. Worth a visit.

Fabulous Fish Tacos!! Best in the Bay Area. I could come every day for them. They're served with a hot consommé chaser. Yum Buffalo wings are good too but the fish tacos are what bring me back every time

Hands down the best food (in any cuisine) I’ve ever had. So fresh and authentic. Amazing fish tacos, guacamole, tamales, and consommé. If ii haven’t tried Chicano Nuevo, you’re truly missing out!

I'm from Southern California and miss the Mexican food down there. Bay Area comida just doesn't cut it sometimes. But Chicano Nuevo takes me back there. Abraham the owner grew up in Tijuana and San Diego so he knows how to make Mexican food the way I like it. The fish tacos and the guacamole are my favorite but the chicken and potato taquitos (called rolled tacos or flautas here) are also top notch. I don't eat pork or beef but my wife enjoyed the carnitas. The selection isn't extensive because it's a popup but they cover the basics: chicken, fish, beef, pork, and vegetarian. Try it and see what the Bay Area has been missing
