Chicago's Home of Chicken & Waffles

I am visiting from Texas staying at the guest house for the Rush program. I placed an order thru Uber eats because I don't have a vehicle here. I ordered the 3 wing combo, greens, potato salad and rice & gravy. The food was delicious until I almost swallowed a piece of wire that was mixed in my food. This happened today 4/17/2024 I called the restaurant, and spoke to a lady named Journey who said that she was the manager. She offered me a dessert if I came over there

I went with friends on a Saturday afternoon.We walked right in.We didn't have to wait. The young man was kind.We got our menus.He seemed to be a little hurried. He took our orders.He forgot to bring the soda. I told him when I put my order in no green onions on my dish. They still put green onions on my shrimp and grits. They made the dish three times, and it was never right. My friends had finished eating, and I had not received anything to eat.I ended up taking the dish that I ordered home. Not the original dish. What I did try when I got home.The chicken was very good.Would I go back yes

Very crispy tenders and very flavorful sauces to choose from. The waffles are a great size and very moist and not dry at all

This was my second time visiting this Restaurant, since they opened. We waited a little over a hour for our food. The waitress was horrible! We asked for Straws& Butter, she never came back in a reasonable time! I had to get it from someone else. How does your worker's go to a car while working and smoke Weed? Our Pregnant waitress was one of the 3workers. When we received our food Everything was cold except 2 Chicken wings.Dressing, mac& Chess, Sweet Potatoes. Cold! We don't live close! I asked for a Manger Twice! She never came! We don't mind spending money for our meals! It was not worth the money nor time! Leaving from a play. We will Never go back again! We weren't the only people complaining! SMH!

Always on point delish

1st time there. I had the chicken and waffles... Delicious. Crispy chicken and I put a little hot sauce on it. Will be back. Workers were nice. Came on Wednesday afternoon.

Food was bomb, service was good, they were so busy so it took a long time but we'll worth the wait! 5 stars
