Wouldn't let us push tabled together and kicked out our friends for sitting at a "service table"

We stopped in for a quick bite and it definitely could have been a better experience. Food came quick but it wasn’t alot of people there. My Italian beef sandwich was cold and falling apart before I even took a bite. The sandwich had no flavor and the au jus that comes with it was extra. My boyfriend got hotdogs and there were very soggy and falling apart. The customer service was very uncaring and judgmental like they couldn’t wait for us to leave or something. The only good thing we had was the seasoned fries as they were hot and perfectly seasoned. I dont know if it was the time we came but seeing as how we were one of the couple of tables at that time it was unsatisfactory and it felt like we were a bother to the workers for coming in to eat there.

We stopped in on Saturday with a group of people. Right from the start the manager made us feel welcome. The food was also on point!

It was definitely a Chicago experience

Fantastic fries and beef/cheese sandwich. Next time planning on a Chicago dog and onion rings. Live blues from king biscuit trio while we were there, amazing! We'll be back.

Not only is it some of the best food I had in Grand Rapids, and they are extremely pleasant and always freshly fast.

Was definitely not Chicago Italian Beef.. Bread was dry..meat taste dry too Chili dogs 1-10 ..is a 3...not worth a visit to me..hate I wasted my money on this Server was nice though

Worst experience ever! Never have experience staff as rude as this place. Also don't park there and give them your business to then walk to the next bar across the street. Apparently that is unacceptable!

1. Why would you have a non public space in the front of house for non guest?!?!?! Anything that's a workers stuff belongs in the back of house( front of house means the floor of the restaurant where the customer's sit Back of house means the back of the restaurant where customer's can't see. 2. Food was nasty and super over priced . No flavor at all. 3. Drinks were ok but wish I could have gad more but took over 15 mins just to get another one 4. Server was "overwhelmed " with one table and half the restaurant empty? Really? Don't hire staff that can't Handel more then one table at a time!. 5. Bathrooms where clean and nice!! Only thing nice I can say about this restaurant. 6. Had a totalt of 8 lights out so if they don't care about the restaurant in that tiny aspect what elts do they not care about . 7 I'll never be back super expensive for a nasty sandwich. With no flavor o and also fries are not included I'll never never be back!! 8. Good luck
