Best sushi place ever! The food and service is amazing!! everyone is so nice and friendly. our food came out so fast and was soo good. The spicy garlic edamame is the best I’ve had and the Samurai roll was amazing overall the place is so good me and my friends loved it! I recommend everyone to go!!

The service is amazing. Rani is a great server and so sweet and patient with my dietary restrictions. Definitely kid friendly. Best sushi hands down.

We were big fans of Chiba and were sad to see it’s changed ownership since May. We decided to give this new place a try and regret it. The rolls were fairly priced but very small. The eel portion in My caterpillar roll was barely existent. To add insult to injury, we were charged a 20% service charge for a party of 5, excuse me! We didn’t even notice the charge until after we added tip…shame on this place. It didn’t feel like home as Chiba used to so we will move on to Chiba on friars and never go back here again.

Wow!!! This ramen is the best!! I ordered the Pork catsu. The flavor was great, the meat was tender, they crisped the bok choy!! Added level of texture and flavor. Best ramen I’ve had in San Diego

2nd visit: Got a basic Philly roll to go. $10 plus tip for below grocery store quality. Old rice. Skinny roll. Poorly rolled. Sad. Had lunch here. It was kind of hot and stuffy. The food was okay, I guess it's on par for Tierra Santa. The service was overly paranoid. This place is not cheap either so when you combine all of that you end up with about three stars.

Incredible flavor and presentation, great beers on tap and a fantastic atmosphere missing from this area since Stein's left.
