Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Very diligent with my celiac needs. Gluten-free options are easily available.
Delicious food and exceptional service
Felt very welcome and had amazing service.
Visited here for dinner and thought the food was tasty. The chorizo and Natas do Ceu were both exceptional so both are definitely worth a try. We also loved the complimentary bread. The monkfish was cooked very well but I felt the sauce to be a little overpowering. The biggest problem I had was with our waiter (remembered he had a french accent). He was so cold, didn't even greet or introduce himself, never smiled, and never said goodbye after we finished eating. The waiter (bald with glasses) at the table beside us, however, was really nice and even offered to take our plates away when our waiter was not present so I wish I could have given him a tip. I also overheard the waiter at the table beside us explain the specials, something our waiter never did.
Antonio and Mariah took such great care of us. This staff clearly has their fine dining training down like the back of their hand. From greeting to wine service, timing to charisma - Chiado is unparalleled in the service department. Cannot stress how amazing the food is. Chef Sergio and the team have every technique and presentation mastered. Complex flavours and presentation without the stuffiness one would expect at this calibre. Amazing all around and I will be back soon!
Great place to share fine Portuguese dishes and wine with friends
