Can you believe a Subway has the audacity to exist in the same shopping center as this place?? The place with the best sandwiches in San Diego? I've been getting the Dijon Roast Beef with provolone on a toasted telera roll for the past fifteen+ years. That, the spicy chicken sandwich, and the tuna melt are my family's top 3.

I've been coming here regularly for 10 years now. The spicy chicken sandwich is a thing of dreams. Ali and Sarai offer a warm welcome every time you go in. There's a reason they're always busy and a reason they don't need to open on the weekends or in the evening. It's that good.

Not sure if this place is still in business or not. Place was not open on a Saturday afternoon and a bunch of paper was taped to the window so good luck. They do make the best sandwiches in the area . I love this place!!

Came in for the famous spicy chicken melt. I would give the sandwich 9/10. The bread should have been toasted, but it was saggy. It’s disappointing they have no area to dine in option; even the one table they have outside says no patio seating. I had to sit outside the jewelry store and subway.

Forgot about this place, can't wait to go back as soon as I recover from wisdom teeth removal. Amazing people and sandwiches
