The swordfish was incredible as well as the shrimp and calamari appetizer! One of my favorite places in Charleston for date night
Keep in mind very few selections, difficult to find parking, and if u are a hearty eater smaller portions ( delicious) but smaller
Love this place. Great to drop in and hang out with friends.
Best $150 I’ve spent in a long time!
We knew going in that this would be a splurge dinner and that there would be limited choices (which we saw as a plus as we are adventurous eaters). With two starters, two entrees, and three beverages our bill finished out at $300. Cons: We were seated awkwardly close to another two person table when there were three open tables to the side of us. They then proceeded to seat the same two person table with a couple having quite a rough go of it. When you are less than 12inches apart it’s hard to ignore the tension, I couldn’t leave quickly enough. Why not stagger the open tables with the ones you seat? Put 2 tops in between 4 tops in the upper room. Wine list by the glass is very pricey. Dishes are quite expensive, even the starters. With only two choices it would be logical to have one pricier and one a bit less. Pros: We enjoyed two of our four dishes and our wine (the granache for $12) and beer were enjoyable. After dinner we headed across the street and wished we’d eaten the burger our table neighbors ordered while we enjoyed a 1/2 bottle of wine for $20. Next time.
An absolutely amazing experience every time we have dined at Chez Nous. The menu was different every time we went, and every single time the meal was incredible. Even ingredients I typically do not like tasted like heaven. We've dined at Chez Nous many times over the last 18 months and we cannot wait to go again.
Gregory was so helpful picking the best wine pairing, so insightful. Kid-friendliness: Not
Lick your plate good, but definitely for someone who enjoys more fine dining with simple yet elegant flavors. Hanger steak and trout today, both were lovely. Highlight of the day was the toasted hazelnuts on the radicchio salad. Yum.
