The food was okay, the atmosphere was dark and a bit depressing due to poor lighting and the location being rather small. Customer service was not really inviting either. Besides that, it was okay, but I guess it was because the place was empty.

The place is very dirty. They have roaches all over the place. The food have mold they reheat the food from days ago the owner Dave pocket the tips and don’t give it to the employees that place needs to be shut down because the food he’s serving is weeks old and that a safety problem
Tasty legumes, fried plantains, rice and red beans. Laid back atmosphere around lunch time. My experience was 5 stars that day.
The fried plantains were bomb and the cow foot was tender. But for $17 I received mostly bone in the few pieces that they gave. Also, the rice was It literally tasted like burned plastic. Usually I can withstand the taste of burned rice but not that taste.
I bought a legume at 11:30am- when i open bag all you smelled is sourness- the rice and bean sauce was good but the legume was spoiled- it was sooo bad. I was recommended that restaurant and was very disappointed. I called restaurant to advise they simply said sorry and thats it- thats $16 down the drain smh
