Chestnut Hill

Chestnut Hill was amazing! Great ambiance with well priced generous portions of homemade dishes! Plus, we got to see an alligator!! Triple Chocolate Cheesecake was delicious!!

Chestnut Hill is an upscale American restaurant that specializes in steak and seafood. It's located off of N Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach. I never give 5 stars so you know my experience was exceptional. The food, service, and ambience were all on point. All of the food was delicious, our server Michael was fantastic, and we had a great view of the pond. It was my mom's birthday so I'm so happy she had a great time. She said it was one of the best places she's been too since she moved to Myrtle Beach. We stopped by on our way home wanting seafood. I read the reviews, which was more good than bad, but I decided to give it a try. I ordered the flounder and crab cakes The crab cakes were ok, but the flounder was horrible. It looked like they left it out on the counter for a few days. Super dry and no flavor, I threw it away. This was a to go order, so maybe someone ordered flounder earlier that day, and they just gave it to me. We spent 100.00, I wish we had just gone to a chain restaurant. What a waist.

Get to see alligators while you eat if you sit at the window and look out carefully

Old school vibe with great food. Had the best crab stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp.

One if Myrtle Beach best restaurants!

This was our last dinner of vacation. I want to first start off by saying our server was excellent. She was knowledgeable and helpful. The food and drink was not good though. Neither of our cocktails were made correctly, the filet was not a filet (it appeared to be a strip steak) and the shrimp was not deveined. They charge “market price” for filets so it was quite a disappointment to be charged that for a cheap piece of a steak. The decor was also really outdated. It was reminiscent of an 80s buffet.
