Ask Peyton for a drink, and enjoy the sass while he makes it. 12/10 would recommend.
Good was top notch, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff.
Such a cute vibe and the drinks are great! I’ll be back
Great atmosphere, amazing drinks, good experience. Will be back.
Neither at the outdoor bar nor at the indoor bar did anyone greet us warmly, smile, or ask if we wanted anything to drink. Despite the cute ambiance, the service is awful. We won't be returning, especially considering there are many better bars in Nashville.
Cherries is a great addition to East Nashville. This place has a great vibe, excellent cocktails, and delicious food. The courtyard and patio area is perfect for patio season.
Great addition to East Nashville! Our bartender Kaitlin was amazing! She gave us great recommendations and was very personable. Very talented. We also ordered the chicken sandwich and it was very tasty! Highly recommend!
The last time I visited Cherries was in November when they first opened. The drinks were very good, so I decided to revisit them a second time last night with my husband. Although, there was a totally different vibe to the place this time. We were never greeted when we walked in, so we sat ourselves. (no sign present that says to do this) The two employees behind the bar made eye contact with us, but not once acknowledged us. Never even said a word. There was a girl wiping off tables who eventually walked over to our table only to replace the unlit candle with a lit one from another table. I said, "thank you..." No response, no smile, not even eye contact and before I could ask for menus, she turned around and walked straight over to the bar to continue wiping off the counter. One lady stuck her head out behind the curtain that led to the kitchen. I waved and she turned around and disappeared behind it. At first, I thought they might have closed early or something, but there were two other tables still being served. We arrived at 8:45 P.M. and the closing time listed is 11 P.M. We were astonished by how poor the "service" was here, if that's what you would even call it... We have lived here our whole lives and have watched the food scene in Nashville bloom. Several of our friends own really really good restaurants here for many years, and this place will not make it, not when you receive better service from gas stations and fast food restaurants. Needless to say, we left after waiting for 15 minutes with no acknowledgment at all and took ourselves down the street to Hawkers Asian Street Food where we were greeted immediately and the service was 10/10. Do yourself a favor, SKIP ON CHERRIES. The food is better down the street anyways.
