Chef's Choice Chinese Cuisine

I ordered take out and order 2 bowls and I didn't get what I ordered. I have no idea what I got.

Really great Cantonese food and the staff was very helpful walking us through some of the menu we weren’t familiar with. Definitely exceeded my expectations and was as good, if not better than some places I’ve been in NYC and San Fran. Sticky fried rice w/ chicken was the star of the evening.

Dined in for a birthday gathering at 7:30 (Saturday night) and ordered the Peking duck combo, additional dishes and a bottle of wine. Couldn't order their signature roasted chicken with sticky rice (sold out and recommended to pre-order in advance - as shown in their website). Service: Lacked attentiveness. First asked for 5 glasses and was forgotten. Had to ask again, and got glasses all with previous stains/food bits. Two glasses were showing cracks. They close at 9:30pm, and they brought out the cake without notifying us around 9pm so they can start closing. Could have told us in advance and let us know they have a strict closing time. There were only 3 tables that time - many opportunities to do so. We weren't finished eating, but they started packing the left overs away as we were going to take group photos. They approached us at 9:30 to say we have to close. That's not even 2 hours of dining for a big table.. they should notify us earlier on minimum times. Food: Worst value for Chinese food. The ingredients for the vegetables picked out was of the cheapest kind - choi sum, bean sprouts, gai lan (not even the jr kind). The Peking duck was burnt and dry. The scallop and pea dish - embarassing scallop quality / value but peas were good. The overall size of the dishes were small, and quality lacking in comparison of other chinese seafood restaurants. Not deserving of Michelin recommends for dinner. The only good dish was not on the combo (pork ribs and taro). Would not recommend the Peking duck combo. Atmosphere was the only decent view, but I noticed there has been atleast months of dust collected on their nice overhead lighting. Will not recommend anyone here for dinner - Just your average chinese restaurant with a price tag.
