I've walked past this place countless times, and finally I stopped in yesterday for lunch with a friend. What a find! The food is simply incredible, and the portions are huge. I would recommend coming to eat with a group in order to enjoy this place family style. There was so much I wanted to try but, alas, only so much I could comfortably eat. For my fellow vegetarians: The japchae plate with a side of soup is to die for, and don't pass up the hot braised soft tofu (the pickled vegetables on the side really elevate the experience, too). Vegetarian options: Japchae rice plate, braised tofu.
Best ganjjajangmyeon in the Bay Area. Amazing tangsuyuk, jjamppong , Mongolian chicken, and chow mein with prawns as well.
home style family run korean-chinese cuisine with hearty portions, the spicy seafood noodle soup is pure comfort, the jjampong shrimp is fried in a perfect crispy batter with a sweet spicy sauce that keeps me coming back every few months once the craving hits. and of course jajang black bean noodles are their mainstay, for any chinese or koreans growing up this was our mac and cheese or spaghetti with tomato sauce, pure nostalgia!
Home-made style Korean Chinese dishes that are yummy and in huge portion. I am impressed with how the family runs the restaurant with such energy and high quality. Given the size of the dishes, I think the price is reasonable.
Great Korean and Chinese food! Want to go again.
