There are so many different restaurants in the area that serve jjampong, but I always come back to Chef Wong. The other restaurants are located much closer to where I live, but I find the trip to this particular restaurant to be well worth it. Give them a try, you won’t regret it.
All dishes and noodles are affordable prices and tasty. Vegetarian options: Tofu menu?
$6.99 lunch special Jjangmyun. Nuff said. It was quite tasty and one of the better Jjajangs I have had recently. I was going to order something else but that price point is crazy. The pot stickers are tasty but quite doughy. Just a different style. I really liked them. I've had takeout a few years ago, with Jjambong, and some larger dishes. Everything is solid. Not knock your socks off but good enough for sure.
Every time I’m in the area I eat here! I love the food, the staff is great, and the portions are huge. All around an excellent experience dining here. I have brought multiple family members and friends and all of them love it!! The black bean noodles and shrimp are u the best I’ve ever had. Chef Wongs is an absolute must if you’re in the area.
Chef Wong’s is my go to for Korean/Chinese food! The food is absolutely delicious and the service is amazing. Every time I go, I feel like family! I’ve also introduced a lot of my family and friends to the restaurant and it has become their go to spot as well! The jajangmyun (black bean noodles) and jjamppong (spicy seafood soup) are my top recommendation, but everything on the menu is fantastic! I highly recommend!
Chef Wong's won me over with their thick, chewy noodles bursting with savory-sweet black bean sauce. The perfectly crisp shrimp toast, light as air and packed with flavor, was the perfect complement. Friendly service and a warm atmosphere rounded out a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend!
