The food is amazing! Sometimes there is a wait but man is it worth it!
What a delightful find! Food was excellent and service was great! The three of us had combination plates and crab rangoons as an appetizer. Yum! Orange chicken, sweet & sour chicken, and chicken & snow peas.
Surprisingly decent to good Chinese food in a small town. Nice friendly lady who takes orders and serves at the front.
I'm very disappointed in the food. We had ordered their food before but it has been 5 months ago and it was fine. This time our food was inedible!!! It was like they put a half of bottle of red pepper flakes in the soup. The egg rolls had so much pepper no one could eat them and we love pepper!! The chop suey tasted sour with 80% of the dish was onions. I called only because I was confused on what happened and thought they could of just been having a bad day. The lady on the phone kept saying over and over the food is always been the same for 25 year. I do not agree!!! Hopefully this review will help someone to avoid a very bad experience.
We visited Chef Peng Chinese Restaurant in Garrett for the fort thine ever. What a huge disappointment. First of all, the restaurant was so HOT. No air flow what’s so ever. Then My husband ordered the Sesame Crispy Chicken with fried rice. I ordered the Orange Chicken with no rice, subbing the Mushroom Fried Rice. Nasty. So nasty. All of it. The chicken itself was so crispy all you got was deep fried breading of that was on the chicken mostly, wasn’t chewable at all. The orange chicken did NOT taste like orange chicken at all. No where even close. I don’t even know what it was honestly. The sauce had so much sugar in it. Disgusting. Oriental Chinese in Auburn knows how to cook it better. Needless to say. I didn’t eat it. Let’s talk about the mushroom rice, the rice and peas we’re hard as rocks. Not good. Definitely will not eat here again.
Food wasn't as good as I was expecting. I always heard how good the food was.. both mine and my friends' food looked the same for being 2 totally different dishes they were both brown in color. I wondered maybe if it was too much soy sauce? My dish had vegetables in it, and u would have never known. They said they only had vegetable egg rolls okay, but the mini roll on my friends plate had pork, which was so much better than the enormous just vegetable one. Would have liked the enormous egg roll taste like the mini one. Crab Rangoon was wonderful, though.
