Chef Art Smith’s Reunion

I had a fairly decent experience. We arrived about an hour before closing and the main dining area was full. After a bit of confusion by the hostess, we were seated at a table in the bar area. We also had to wait awhile for our order to be taken, but our waitress was pleasant and did the best she could. The fried chicken was really good! It deserves the rave reviews its earned. I was happy the greens did not include pork and were actually vegetarian. My husband really liked the goat cheese buttermilk biscuits. While it's not a restaurant I plan to frequent, I would take family visiting from out of town looking for a touristy experience.

Understaffed for a busy night, poor service as a result. 20 mins to get our drinks, 45 mins for food. Won’t be returning.

I tried the spicy shrimp pasta, and it was great. I was pretty surprised when I found out it was made by hand.

I went in on a Monday. I was initially interested in their Brunch menu, but it was lunch, so i thought... Why not? I sat at the bar, and Jeb, the lead bartender, served me. I ordered the fried chicken Jeb stated it's what Art Smith was known for. So, i got the chicken meal w greens instead of mash potatoes and a side of mac & cheese (again recommended by Jeb, per what he (Art) was known for). Loved! the mac & cheese with greens... Loved!!, I wanted more greens! But, I passed due to the chicken. The breading/batter was separating from the chicken skin. It definitely was dredged wet. It looked and tasted like it was brined, the flavor was there, and the breading was good. It was also cooked properly; it wasn't under or overcooked. But the crust separated from the skin, the skin with the brine; if i didn't know any better, i would have thought the chicken was old by the look of the skin. I don't usually order fried chicken. I can make that at home. So I was highly disappointed in the chicken; everything else was good. I also tried the lemonade due to Jeb, receiving my communication as "lemonade" when i said "water with lemon." It was a win for me, though. It was good, Lemonade.

Went for my brothers birthday and would highly recommend on every level. Our server, Caesar was incredible and made us feel like we were his only table even though it was busy and we had 8 people in our group. The food was 10/10. Beautiful presentation and delicious. We even had the honor of meeting Ismael who runs the kitchen and I just wanted to put him on my plate and eat him up oh my god I wish he was on the menu. I loved the place. Would come back for any occasion!

Ishmael and Caesar were both amazing! Also the woman at the bar who served me and my family while waiting to be seated at our table. Quick service even though it was 7 of us, amazing food, drinks were perfect, and just a great experience overall!

I loved the service we received and the food was really good. Everyone there took great care of us .

Such a great time going here for restaurant week. The fried green tomatoes are such a good appetizer and the cocktail program is amazing. The coolest part was chef Smith doing table touches. Our server Cesar was attentive to us our entire time.
