I love Cheesie's. I live a block away and go all the time. The best part about Cheesie's is Bill Will at the door.
We dined in about a year and a half ago and it was amazing. Decided to go back recently and this time, we brought family along. We were excited to share this location with them. Not sure if they have new owners now but this was a horrible experience. We had to ask multiple times in order for us to get our drinks bc they kept forgetting. They admitted several times they had no idea how to make any of the drinks they advertised. And even when asking for something as simple as a beer, they would forget and we’d have to ask multiple times if they were bringing it. We started to have to get up from the table and go look for one of the servers to remind them we were still missing certain things. When we would look for our server bc we needed something he kept making us wait while he socialized with friends. He seemed bothered every time we would ask for things.. that he kept forgetting. They weren’t attentive at all and very unprofessional in the way they spoke with us as clients. The food was alright, not bad. Would not go back again.
Didn't eat as there was a limit menu due to the late hour. However, we had drinks and the staff was amazing.
Never going back for a pink burger told me that's how they cook them lol never going back a bunch of kids work there
Staff was extremely inappropriate especially manager Sergio! Made me so uncomfortable
Sergio the manager was making my friend and I uncomfortable the entire time and most of the time feeling like sexual harassment. Absolutely disgusting behavior from the male employees. Extremely disappointing that this was allowed and even considered amusing.
Delicious, cheesy food in the heart of Chicago. Good vibe and atmosphere. Staff seemed to be adjusting to having two businesses in the same place, but overall good service and attentiveness.
