Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

They may need to do a hiring event. I ordered curbside online after them not coming out after 30 mins, I called and was told they were coming. So 15 more minutes passed by so I went inside. My food was on the counter. Of course my food was cold !

This place is not like it used to be. will eventually be closed as profits have to be down, the place sucks

Greeting was very cold and we a party of five felt like she was saying why are you bothering me. We were sent to a booth!!! but asked for a table setting and she said none were available even though there were less than 15 people there. When we said it was due to a handicap she begrudgingly gave us a table, Not a good start but service was o k and food was excellent.

The bartender Danaisha was extremely uninviting. I sat at the bar for almost ten minutes without a greeting she continued to look up at me and finally brought over a menu. A guy sat down after me and she immediately greeted him, gave him a menu and took his drink order. I asked for a manager and she said, “Ha, oh okay. Let me get them” she came back and yelled across the bar “She’s on the line. She’ll be with you when she can.” I thought this place had turned things around under new management but I see nothing has changed. This was my final straw with Cheddars. I’ll never go back again.

For starters the only reason I was able to convince my sister to come here tonight is because we were told that this location was under new management and they bragged about the experience. This use to be my favorite restaurant and many times I overlooked the customer service because I’ve always been satisfied with the value and food. It’s been months since I visited and I was looking forward to a new atmosphere. Unfortunately I was disappointed to see nothing has changed. When I arrived about 5 mins after my sister ,she still had not been greeted. When I sat down the bartender ,Danaisha slide a menu towards me and didn’t part her lips to even say hello. Because I’m use to this from this establishment it didn’t even bother me. However On my way in a gentlemen entered behind me and also sat at the bar. After maybe another 5 mins for me (10 for my sister) she approached the gentleman and took his order. At this time she still had not spoken a word to me nor my sister. When we asked Danaisha to speak with the manager on duty she said ok in a way that let us know it wouldn’t make a difference to her or for us. So we left without ordering. very disappointing experience but typical for this location.

Cheddar just isn't what it used to be. I had the chicken pot pie & the only thing good about it was the crust. The pot pie was tasteless...but salty.

The staff was friendly and polite. Had the spinage dip,which was good. The meal was what we had an issue with. The monti crisco has an overpowering old oil flavor from the frying. Couldn't taste the meat in it. The fries needed to be crispier and a little flavor. The bacon cheese burger couldn't taste the cheese or the bacon. Also needed seasoning. The pot pie was really good.
