Checkers

I love checkers but it hasn’t been the same the past few years until I came across this location recently while in the area and omg it was amazing food was fresh and on point. Line was long but they knocked it down so fast on top of fresh food….A+

Very dry considering they have an AI taking their orders at least the cashier in the window be nicer

Just had lunch there, with my son, after his surgery. The food and service was fine. Today, a friend witnessed employees refusing service to a uniformed police officer, so I guess Thursday was my last visit.

It's ridiculous that you have to pull to a specific window for app orders. The person has to struggle to reach out to give you the food if you have no passenger to grab it. Also, it makes no sense that the fries are ALWAYS hotter than the burger. The wait time is atrocious. Waiting over 30 minutes to get food from this place is crazy. What's even crazier is that the order is never correct. I paid for bacon and didn't get it, asked for no lettuce but got that but didn't get the onions I wanted on the burger. Thank God for Whataburger. That's where I go now. Fresh food fast.

1st let me start by saying Checkers had always been one of my favorite places to grab a burger and fries. This visit today on my lunch break was terrible!!! I ordered the sourdough big Buford combo and a checkers champ combo. I get to the window and paid. The lady handed us 1 drink and my card and asked us to pull all the way back around and come to the drive thru on the other side to pick up our food. We had to ask for the other drink. Then there was nobody at all behind us. My truck is not the most maneuverable vehicle. So asking us to do this was absurd and unnecessary to say the least. So as we drove up on the curbs to make this redundant action, and pulled to the other window we was handed out food immediately, which further proved how unnecessary all of this was. We get down the road and start eating. The were greasy and not crisp. My sourdough was not toasted and it was cold. The other burger was cold as well. And both of our cokes were full of ice and very little soda. I'm done with this establishment. I can get a hot dog from the gas station and be more satisfied.
