Awesome view of the whole city, decent food and friendly staff. We ordered the ahi tuna, coconut shrimp with mango rice, caesar salad (definitely big enough for two people to share) and the table side mojito flight. The ahi tuna had a lot of gristle which shouldn’t be the case at a high end restaurant. The coconut shrimp was excellent and came with three sauces to dip them in. The mojito flight was tasty, but didn’t have much alcohol in them. My biggest complaint was waiting 15-20 minutes with a massive crowd of people in the lobby waiting to take the elevator back down because they were only using one elevator.

Very nice experience, had lunch there. Was planning on coming for dinner but after having lunch there decided not to. The food was delicious and the experience was awesome. Only complaint is that it took forever to get a water refill and our salad was warm and lettuce was very wilted. Was actually happy in getting their prime rib, but then inform me that's its only available for dinner. Then why put it on the lunch menu. Being Landrys rewards members we always try and get our points in but for it being a chart house I think you just pay for the attraction rather than service. I'd rather go to the chart in my town.

tldr; Didn't have the full menu for a reservation, not well accommodating for gluten allergy (celiac), bad food, terrible service. My boyfriend and I came here for our 2yr anniversary on Saturday March 9 with a reservation for 9:30p. First, the restaurant was DARK. Not dimly lit and romantic, just dark. I could not read my menu. Next I informed the waitress that I have a gluten allergy, and she brought me the gluten free menu. We ordered the hummus platter, the shrimp and mango stack, and a ceasars salad. They did not have the shrimp anymore. However the hummus platter had pita bread on it I was confused because usually pita is not gluten free and I tried to get the waitresses attention for a couple minutes to ask her. When she finally came, and I raised my concern, she said "Well if it's on the gluten free menu then I trust it. But I will check." I was skeptical and did not eat the pita, and good thing because it was not gluten free. Instead of taking the whole platter away to provide a new one, she bought a tiny plate with a sliced carrot to eat with the hummus instead. Then, my boyfriends food came out and I was still waiting for my own for quite a bit. Then head chef came out and told me that the seasoned encrusted salmon I ordered was actually not on the menu (the gluten free menu that was provided) but that he could do a salmon filet and veggies and mashed potatoes. When It came out everything was awful. the vegetables were rubbery. The salmon tasted awful. the potatoes were bland. between each time needed some service, our server was nowhere to be found. overall a terrible experience, especially for the cost. how can you not have the menu prepared for RESERVATIONS, expected customers. :/

Myself and Husband went to the Chart house at the Tower of America in San Antonio Texas for our Anniversary on Feb 1 2024. We had a window. seat with a view. I have a habit of taking my shoe off. This particular time my shoe I took off was not in my area any more , for It must of rotated away from me. When I notice I couldn’t find my shoe. I immediately got the attention of my waitress her name was Erica and informed her my shoe was not in our area any more. I was surprised my shoe would have rotated away from our area we were sitting in ,because everything thing in our area rotated together.She immediately went to find it. She came back and told me my shoe was caught in their rotation and was having a hard time getting it out without damaging it.They finally was able to get my shoe out from being wedge in between the rotation.But my expensive $1400 Saint Laurent shoe was destroyed. I had just recently bought them for this special occasion.They took pictures of my extremely damaged shoe. I took pictures also. The Manager Mike said to call their General Manger in the Morning about them putting in an insurance claim for my shoe that got destroyed.They took my name and Number, Address . We were visiting all the way from Denver Colorado celebrating our anniversary. I gave my statement what happen and they stated will investigate the incident and will get Back with on hat they ca n do regarding reimbursement. What really alarming is if my shoe it was inside where we were seated at rotated away and got caught into their rotation. Just imaged how easily some one leg, foot can get caught into their rotation. This can be extremely dangerous.!!!! They act like they were concern and would compensate. me for my shoe that got destroyed at their establishment. They sent me a letter telling me they’re not responsible . But how are they not ??? Be aware of this Dangerous establishment. Because it a dangerous, Hazardous place. If my shoe got destroyed just imagine what else can get destroyed in their rotation. They are lucky it was Just my shoe. I will never go back to this place ever again very unsafe !!!!!!!!

All reservations are canceled today with out letting us know.. Re; I need to update about review , couple of emails passed to management and me asked that recent of negative review “I told them, without knowing 2/12 they canceled all reservations” management said we contact you soon as possible out team working on it’s but no one responded ( no one apologized about that) “Make sure all customers before you go, check with them about your reservation because most important things time you going to miss they don’t care about you.
