Hostes are very friendly. There's a full bar. The taste of the food was very good. They serve homemade tortillas and beans with the order. Service was slow and bleak, and the food was overpriced. Parking: Is downtown Tucson and there is no parking really
Unbelievable, the very best Great service, are meals where 5 star
Yet another 5-star lobster dinner at Charro Steak. Anything Gary creates is so yummy! Also, we noticed the menu is naturally 75% gluten free. Interesting.
All of the El Charro restaurants are excellent with a 100 year legacy creating wonderful SW cuisine; however, we particularly like El Charro Steak & Del Rey because of the seafood options on the menu. The trout, salmon and mussels are great but my favorite is the ceviche. That dish along with a large serving of guacamole made right at your table is a complete meal. Top it off with a cold beer or wine from the large selections available. Update: Had dinner again at El Charro del Rey tonight. Same great service and food. The Seared Ahi Tostada and Broadway Salad with Grilled Shrimp were delicious.
Good food and great service.
One of the best meals I've had in Tucson. This is a steak and seafood restaurant with a South American twist. Great service, too. Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible in most of restaurant other than bar.
We will definitely be back. We travel to California and were looking for different places to eat on the road. Charro was a suggestion, and it was great! My wife loved the salmon, and I had the Ribeye. Very friendly staff. We had to sit at the bar since it was very busy. We stopped by again on our way home!
