Charo Chicken - East Torrance

I just ate today March 11, 20224 Chicken was really dry no flavor The mash potato was ok the rice idk…. I bought half a chicken…. Idk they have to check on their cooks

The food was good

Ordered an 8-piece meal for takeout. Comes with 8 pieces of chicken and two sides. We chose the garden salad and potato salad. The potato salad is very clearly store-bought. I went in and asked if it was store-bought, and the employee stated they get it from a container and just scoop some out (it was gross). The employee was kind and offered to substitute another side and I chose the rice. The rice was just okay. The chicken was a 6/10 because the flavor was good on the outside but dry on the inside and we ordered the Spicy Cayenne Lemon Garlic, and this chicken was not spicy AT ALL. The Garden Salad was mixed greens with a sprinkle of shredded cheese and some crispy tortilla strips... nothing to write home about. Lastly, the tortillas were cold, stale, and also appeared to be store-bought. There were no customers when I picked up my order at 1:30 pm, which is very weird because other businesses in the area are booming for the lunch rush and the restaurant had a foul smell. I was looking forward to finding a new regular lunch spot as I work in the area, but I will not be returning. The employee was kind, but management should consider the quality of food when wondering why they are not as lucrative as they would like to be.

Came to pick up a grub hub delivery order and they berly started making it when I show up,I get paid per delivery not per hour,,they should be more alert on thier orders

The Garlic Butter Sauce

This Charo Chicken restaurant was the best chicken restaurant where I had been eating before. It was located in the small shopping mall, and there were many other restaurants nearby. There were plenty of parking spaces and I didn't have any problem finding a parking space. When I went inside of the restaurant, It was very clean, and they had big dining room. They had various choices of menu. They offered different choices of chicken meals, salads, burritos, nachos,Quezadillas, tacos,bowls sandwiches & other things. I selected their famous chicken meals that were fresh fire-grilled chicken with special lemon garlic sauce. I chose two sides, which were rice and Cole slaw. And it came with corn tortillas and salsas. There was a lady who helped me to select the menu. She was cheerful and confident. She explained their menu carefully, so I made a good selection. After that, I tried their chicken meals. The fire grilled chicken was not dry, and it was tender & juicy. First, I put some of the chicken pieces and salsa on top of corn tortillas. Then, when I tried it, it was heavenly tasty meal. Chicken was moist and savory flavor, and it was mouthwatering taste. It was not salty and spicy flavor that was created amazing chicken. They cooked their chicken grilled to perfection. Also, Cole slaw was tangy and zesty which made a perfect combination of chicken meals. I would like to recommend Charo Chicken restaurant to everyone. Once you tried their chicken, you would return this restaurant again and again. This restaurant is the best chicken restaurant where I have ever eaten before. This restaurant is the best !!! I ❤️ their Charo Chicken !!!

There is a horrible smell (sewer) near the booth by the door. Now I understand why they had the door propped open. I ordered the Chicken Fajitas guacamole had a funny taste, I liked the black beans and rice. My elderly father the 4 piece meal chicken was smothered with seasoning, replaced beans for coleslaw it was good but didn't look fresh. Definitely not a place we will return to when there are better choices for Chicken.

We arrived at 8 and they were closed already. Wednesday 10/11. They don’t have the correct hours on display.
