Charlotte's Legendary Lobster Pound

I was able to try out one of their lobster rolls before the season ended and it was quite delicious! We ordered one footlong roll to share and we and had it with both styles: mayo based and butter based. The butter based was tastier and more flavourful for sure. It was pretty pricey but the sandwich was filled with nice pieces of lobster meat. For it being a shack/food truck and only having one outhouse that didn’t even have a handwashing station or any hand sanitizer left in the container, it was a bit shocking how pricey our meal was for one full lobster roll, two drinks and a side of sweet potato fries- coming up close to $80…

Delicious sautéed lobster roll and onion rings. Very friendly service. Cute environment with occasional live music; there are also some animals in the back for the kids!

OMG the food was amazing! The desert recommendation from the lady that took our order was *chef's kiss*. The caramel apple bomb was a huge hit. My husband's clam chowder was so creamy and delicious (and I don't usually like it), and my cheeseburger was phenomenal. The fried shrimp were hot and fresh and that was some of the best cocktail sauce I've had. Will definitely return!

Food was incredible and worth the parking hassle. We got the fried scallop roll, onion rings, clam chowder and ginger beers. Everything was extremely fresh and cooked perfectly. The clam chowder was piping hot. Ginger beer was a great local selection. They lost a star for lack of parking. When it’s busy it’s impossible to find a spot. Luckily they have 10 minute spots that were available so we could pick up food. They should consider working out a deal with neighbors to get more parking options Parking: ~ 12 spots. 2 are 10 minute takeout pickup spots

I wish gmaps had a sixth star to give. Charlotte has the most authentic down east food and feel. Must not miss this place when on the island.

The food was great, great service, all the staff was very kind and welcoming. Open til late, decent prices. I would recommend them to anyone! Had the lobster mac and cheese and 1/2 lb lobster roll.

I had just finished my first and last gatorade when I supped "what is a lobster pound vibe"? and then a small white orb appeared before me and said "lobster vibe? follow me." and that's how I ended up at charlotte's where the onion rings were crisp, fries superb, and the songs were warm.

A fun experience with great food! A wide array of menu items—even for those who may not love seafood! Seating is limited so plan accordingly. (And at the time of this post, only outdoor seating was available.)
