The service and atmosphere is 5 stars but the food was just satisfactory. I bought almost $100 worth of all their hot items and the only thing I can give them 5 stars on is the sweet and spicy chili chicken with greens. One of the best greens I've tasted. They do need to make some good potatoe salad. There is only one place I know where to get some good potatoe salad. I'm a chef and caterer. Catch me tase viamill on Instagram, even Facebook.
Fried chicken worth eating in Los Angeles. I finally found you. I got a massive bucket for my group and we crushed it like we hadn’t seen food in weeks. Absolutely perfect fried chicken. No notes.
The fried chicken is great. I think it's Korean style double fried. It's really crispy even after drizzling the honey sauce on it. I can also vouch for the Cajun corn. Oh yeah, I recently tried the chicken nuggets or popcorn chicken or whatever they were called. They taste good and were a great value for the price.
My 1st visit...it was a 20 minute wait just to take my order then the order taker was rude & impatient as I asked about a few items on the menu. They were out of the items I specifically came for smh. The lobby could use a deep cleaning but it's in the hood so they likely don't care about that level of service. I would have left if I hadn't committed to trying Charlie's Chicken for our monthly meeting...NEVER again!
Best fried chicken In LA fr fr ....!!!!!!! I wish I could eat this everyday 4 for piece 9.99 chicken & waffles I came from Hartford Connecticut 2 try the food . 10 out of 10
Spicy rice, Sweet Cajun corn, poppin chicken, fried chicken skins, etc Smh... Man that honey butter
Who got yall lying in the reviews? I got the spicy chicken skins, Cajun sweet corn, and 3 piece honey butter chicken with fries and collard greens. The only good things were the rolls, honey butter chicken and my drink. They need to season more or something. I'm so hurt
