Charles Pan-Fried Chicken

I placed an order for delivery in January. After an hour wait I received a call from the restaurant they were just getting to our order and didn’t have yams. After placing substitutes and waiting for delivery. Several items from my order were missing. I called and left a voicemail, contacted the delivery service and emailed the restaurant directly. To my disappointment I have not received a response.

Tender fried chicken perfectly seasoned!

Not only did the employees have such warmth when helping me with my questions. They also made us feel comfortable when ordering giving great customer service!

We ordered the wings, 4 sides, 2 desserts, and 2 drinks. The wings were basic and lacking seasoning. The sides were not fully cooked and also needed more flavor. The yams had a little sweetness. The Mac and cheese was cheesy but that was it. The peach cobber is just bread pudding with peaches thrown on top. The red velvet cake was dry. We were there within an hour of opening and they were already out of everything else we wanted. We were ready to drop a hundred dollars on delicious food for how many people we had and it fell very short of that. There was barely any communication between the workers but everything I ordered was in the bag so that's the only good thing. The cornbread definitely doesn't remind me of home and give me any comfort. I won't be back or recommend this to anyone. Highly unsatisfied.

Omg I could smell the food from outside. This is exactly what this area needed. Mouthwatering. The food speaks for itself. And the staff greeted me with a smile, very welcoming. Definitely going to spread the word.

Very warm and welcoming place. Love the sweet Yams, mac n cheese, amazing ribs. Their sauce is to die for. Fried Chicken was ok. The desserts were are a highlight. The strawberry cheesecake is to die for. The bana pudding is good, the Peach Cobbler is ok.

The skillet fried chicken reflects the southern food I had in Tennessee and the sides options are great with classics like Mac and cheese.
