This place is a hidden gem! Seems to be family run so it’s closed on the weekends. The dishes have some of the richest flavors of any Thai food I’ve had in Portland and there are some really unique house specials (pumpkin curry, mango curry, crab fried rice and spicy chicken and shrimp our favorites). Portions are extremely generous!!
Vegetarian options: Dishes are ptotein optional with tofu option. Parking: About 3-4 spots in lot, and street parking, and we were the only guests eating in, so it was fine, but it is a busy street. Kid-friendliness: No worries, but it is a small space. Also ask for no spice probably. See pictures. Wheelchair accessibility: Street level.
Pineapple fried rice is top of the line also homecoming
The food was impeccable, portions were massive, and service was so friendly and good. We were so surprised. Walking in the place seemed a little cramped and sketch, but the food was great so it’s ok.
Amazing food and wonderful people
This place is fire, best Thai food I've had in Portland so far hands down, and lucky for me, it's very close to my house. Prices are very reasonable, diverse menu, huge portions, and I've always had very pleasant experiences with staff there while calling my order in and picking it up. I highly recommend, this place literally restores my faith in eating out once I'm burnt out on other restaurants and questioning why I bother eating out so much in the first place lol
they didn't pick up the phone when I called to place an order
Walking into this place is walking into something special. Like that kitchen of a relative or a neighbor who knows how to cook. It is small but you know something wonderful is going on. Had drunken noodles and my friend had pad thai. Mine was fresh delicious and full of flavor. I take her word for hers because she got Thai hot. (I like my insides). She said it was the best she had in years. This place is a hidden gem. The staff was fantastic and friendly. Knowing the regulars by name. One walked in not knowing what he wanted. Her reply was "I'll make you something you love." Parking is a little troublesome but it was a small price to pay. I will continue to visit this place. Try different things and experience the wonderful atmosphere.
I love this place... i wish they where open 7 days a week.
