This place could be a 5 out of 5 but the music is too loud. The food is solid 5. The service is a solid 5. The atmosphere is a 5 minus 1 for loud as music.

Our visit to Chaak was an unforgettable journey, starting with the El Jefe drink—a delightful blend with a kick. The ceviche was a fresh delight, while the esquite with bone marrow and grilled octopus showcased the kitchen's mastery. Cheese empanadas added a comforting touch. The highlight was the Parrillada Yucatan, a carnivore's dream with perfectly cooked arrachera, spicy sausage, and pollo pibil, each bite a harmony of flavors. Service was stellar, making our experience truly amazing. Chaak is a must-visit for anyone seeking an exceptional culinary adventure in Tustin. We're already looking forward to our next visit

The perfect restaurant for a fun evening out. We had been wanting to get a table at CHAAK for weeks and Don the manager was incredible at contacting us when a cancellation came up. He looked after us so well - as did all the servers. The food was incredible - especially the ceviche and the Bronzino. Would 100% come back again!

We stopped by for lunch while car shopping and were seated promptly. David was our server, and he was attentive, professional, and customer friendly. We started with a couple of tequilla drinks with chips and guacamole. My wife ordered the chicken tacos, and I had the steak and potatoes. Both meals were good and the drinks fantastic. The ambiance is positive and bright in downtown Tustin. Recommended.
