CERU Eastern Mediterranean Restaurant South Kensington

(Excellent Coeliac and Gluten free choices.) What a great little find. The food was outstanding, and there were so many coeliac options. (The staff were very knowledgeable re GF too.) Everything was delicious, but the Karides and Lamb shoulder were particular favourites.

Sadly wasn’t a great lunch. Our server was new but really friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the food just wasn’t outstanding. As mentioned by previous reviewers it is small plates which we didn’t mind (bar the octopus) as that’s the concept but the flavours weren’t quite right. Squid was over fried, prawn sauce didn’t feel fresh, seabream was slightly over too. Appreciate what was being intended, just wasn’t executed well given the price tag. Dips were lovely just unfortunately not enough for a return visit.

Nice atmosphere, I'd recommend booking as it's quite a small room. Very tasty dishes, portions were slightly small though. They didn't have most of the wines that were on their wine list... Shame but they offered nice alternative. Friendly service!

A truly brilliant little restaurant. The food was outstanding with every dish we tried being excellent. A special mention for the Octopus and Pumpkin dishes which were especially delicious. I also tried a caraf of the house wine (my guess as it was the cheapest on the menu) but was delighted to find it was an excellent North Macedonian red with great flavours. My wife's choice was also excellent so I think they have a great choice of interesting wines. Highly Recommended!

We chance upon this wonderful eastern Mediterranean restaurant during our April London Holiday. Every single dish was excellent , cooked w such love n fresh ingredients. Service was so friendly n warm. Wine from Lebanon, Macedonia, Israel. So interesting! Recommend 100%

Delicious and flavourful

Fantastic food, and great staff particularly Andros I couldn't count the superlatives required to express the experience. We have between us eaten all over the world truly wonderful x Gary and Iris .
