Couldn't tell you how the food was. We were there 35 minutes and never got our drinks, let alone our food. We got up and walked just down the street to another restaurant and were served immediately. Sad thing is the restaurant was not even busy

Cute little Italian restaurant where you can sit outside and relax with your dog. I've eaten here only twice and based on both experiences I give at least three stars for the very kind and polite servers and lovely atmosphere but I wasn't overwhelmed with the food. The first time I dined here I ordered the pizza Margarita which was extremely large for a small but it wasn't super exciting or bursting with unique flavors. I'm a foodie and dine out nightly so I have tried many different Italian restaurants in Chicago and the pizza was fair but not unique in flavor. Last night I arrived on a bustling evening and my server was extremely busy. It took her a while to take my order and when I decided upon a half serving of gnocchi and panes bread with warmed butter she asked me if she should bring both orders together or bring out whatever was ready first. I told her it didn't matter and to bring anything that is ready first. I waited well over 25 minutes wondering why bread would take so long and instead my small plate of gnocchi came out lukewarm instead of steaming hot. I loved the presentation but for $14 I was disappointed with the extremely small amounts of gnocchi and the soft pasta dough. Another reviewer here was correct -- the dough melts in your mouth. I however prefer the firmer and more doughy version of gnocchi and I didn't expect such huge pieces of cheese inside. What surprised me is the fact that my dish wasn't that hot. Finally the bread came out second and another server explained that my bread that I had ordered over half an hour ago had been mistakenly given to a different table. Another server asked me if I had enjoyed my gnocchi and I said yes but that it wasn't piping hot and instead was served lukewarm. He immediately brought me out a new plate and honestly it still wasn't incredibly "hot". I'm used to being served pasta a bit higher in temperature than just above lukewarm. The sauce was good but not "great". I appreciate the staff working as a team but I'm surprised there wasn't one specific person designated for water refills. I suggest the owner invests in pure filtered water for their guests instead of suggesting bottled water for a fee or tap water that isn't so pleasant tasting. Also maybe have two pieces of bread with olive oil served at the beginning of the meal completely complimentary for your diners. Everything I'm sharing is just me trying to be as impartial as possible. The food quality is definitely lacking here for the amount of money I've spent and I've been to many fine dining Italian restaurants where the service and food exceeded my expectations but here I wasn't sure if the cuisine has been "Americanized" to suit a certain audience.

80 degrees outside with 70% humidity and the patio doors are wide open, no AC. Couldnt think of a less enjoyable dining experience. Yikes

It's what you'd expect from a fancy Italian restaurant. Exorbitant prices for mid food and tiny portions on a pretty platter. They do have many wine choices if you're into that, but don't expect many other beverage options. You come here to pay for the atmosphere and service, not the food. If you're on a budget and/or have a big appetite, stay away. Frankly, if you aren't dressed for fine dining, stay away, too, unless you can emotionally withstand the critical air of some of the staff. edit in reply: In regards to the drink options, yes, there are more options than wine; however, based on the menu I saw, they were just more alcoholic drinks. If there were non-alcoholic options on the menu, I could not find them. On prices, I would agree that the pizzas are the best priced. Otherwise, be prepared to spend around $15 for essentially a side. TL;DR: If you're wealthy or like pretending you're bougie you'll probably love this place. If you're not, don't go here.

One star in generous. Me & my husband came in tonight to dine— we ordered cocktails, appetizers & two entrees/pizzas. The best thing we ate was the bread. The Brussel sprouts were over done, the meatballs were underdone. The pizzas were so awful, we both had a single slice & didn’t even bring them home. They were so burnt on the bottom, you couldn’t taste anything else but char. One of our pizzas had a piece of GLASS or very hard plastic in it as well. The service was horrible and it took us about 15-20mins just to get the check, due to our server sitting on his phone. I don’t not recommend this place & will be following up about the GLASS found in our pizza.
