Best pasta in tucson no cap 10/10
Depending on the time of day, there can be a long line and a longer wait time. Popular pastas and sandwiches also often sell out so go early before the lunch rush. Limited seating is available. The pasta is handmade and the pasta of the day is often interesting in terms of flavors. There is also usually a special gelato offered. The grapefruit matcha was delicious!
Downtown Tucson Lunch Favorite! Pasta is made in house. It’s amazing.
Five stars for flavor, 2 stars for portion size. Only outdoor seating.
Honestly I used to love this place! It’s pricey — but normally the food is so good it’s totally worth it. Today it was… very, very bad. To put it mildly . Definitely won’t be going back. It’s a bummer, but I can’t afford $20 inedible pasta…
The special of the week was great! Went again this week and the special was amazing again! Update: have gone over and over again, and have not been disappointed!
This is the best pasta I've had in my life. I came here on a Thursday around noon after finishing my very last exam for my undergraduate degree. At this point, I knew that I wouldn't be in Tucson much longer, so I was on a mission to go to this place. I've visited on a few occasions but they are very rarely open, so after memorizing their hours of operation by heart, I texted a couple of friends to see if they were free, waited a whole 5 minutes, then set off on the Sunlink cable car to go here by myself. I got the Cacio e Pepe with Tagliolini. I don't know if it's because it was my first experience having fresh pasta, but it was wonderful. I don't think I would ever have the opportunity to have fresh pasta outside of a fancy sit down place, but this was a very casual take-out operation where I ate my lunch outside on the nearby picnic tables and enjoyed the surrounding wall mural art. Would come again.
Delicious pasta and dessert. Mint tea was on point. Pasta and sauces are all fresh. Pesto was divine, red meat sauce was so yummy. I love that they list the ingredients. Things sell out quickly! Reasonable prices and fun to eat outside. Tiramisu was unique, mostly because of the homemade lady fingers- you don’t see that often! Will definitely go back. My only regret is not taking some extra fresh pasta home.
Great hope in the wall street pasta. Many vegan options
