Bourbon Barrel Stout Outstanding. Attentive staff—helpful recommendations for local food places. Every barkeep checked glasses for cleanliness when taking glasses out of the dishwasher. Attention to that detail indicates quality. Great ambiance inside (winter, so I didn’t go outside)

So glad my favorite brewery opened a location closer than 2 hours away! Beautiful location with indoor and outdoor seating on a quiet street (next to a noisy freeway). There are tons of beer choices, including many of my favorite barrel aged varieties. Food is available from a local restaurant in the taproom, but we haven't yet tried the new vendor since it changed. Service is always great and the space is just incredible. High ceilings, lots of seating at high tops, tables, bar, and up in whatever you call the mezzanine up top. We LOVE coming here. There's enough space and ambient noise with a relaxed atmosphere that we are completely comfortable bringing our generally well behaved toddler after a museum trip so mom and dad can have a drink. Everyone is friendly and it's a great place to just chill. Parking: Parking is tough. Lots of apartments nearby. You'll probably have to walk a few blocks unless it's early early afternoon on the weekend Kid-friendliness: It's a super relaxed environment and the high ceilings seem to keep the ambient noise level high. We love to sneak upstairs into one of the cubbies so we can drink, snack, and play while keeping out of everyone's way.

We had a great time here. They have a nice space, it has a nice atmosphere and is well decorated. We did not get to see the beer garden or explore much though. For a brewery about to celebrate 26 years they do have a tap list that reflects that experience. Lots of good dark beers, pilots, small batch, barrel aged, etc. Also, the company was very good. We spent a while talking to our bartender and other patrons. One of my top 10 breweries we've visited.
