This place is amazing! Great food, wonderful beer selection, and very friendly staff! Came for dinner and got the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich (10/10), but will definitely be back to try out their breakfast as well! Highly recommend!

Buyer beware. The menu is not up to date so what you order may not be what you get. The food that was received was also pretty dry. There was a silver lining. The breakfast taco was tasty and a good value.

UPDATE 2: We stopped by today (Sept 3) for brunch and coffee. I am very impressed! This place completely turned it around from our last experience back in June. I ordered the carnitas hash and it was delicious. The housemade green salsa was also a great touch. Avocado toast was solid. Cold brew was some of the best I've had in awhile. Live music was high quality. We will be back again often! ________________________________ UPDATE: Based on mamagements' response, it is clear to me they care about their customer feedback and I will update post again the next time I visit. I have confidence they will make it through the growing pains of new management! My husband and I used to love going to Cenote for dinner. We live nearby and the food WAS fresh and unique. Our faves were the beet fries, beef taco plate, and veggie sandwich. Unfortunately, things have taken a turn for the worse. None of those items are on the menu anymore, and what is on tha menu is completely generic and uninspired. The quality of the food was sooooo disappointing... Fried Pickles - Strange batter and WAY too salty. Fried Chicken Sandwhich - Decent chicken but again, bizarre batter. Quesadilla - Worst offender. Bland and the cheese wasn't even melted Music and ambiance were still great! I truly hope this place turns its food and menu situation around. I'll give it another shot in the near future.

¡Please, don’t come here! Our first time as we were here on a mini-vacation… NEVER AGAIN. From coming in and the smell of the restaurant being unpleasant, to the restaurant and it’s tables/chairs looking dirty and sticky. It looks like no one cleans the place overnight. ¿The food? Dry and as if they heated the food in a microwave. THE PHOTOS THEY POST ARE NOTHING LIKE WHAT THEY SERVE. COLD, DRY AND HEATED IN THE MICROWAVE. THIS FOOD IS NOT COOKED THAT SAME DAY/HOUR YOU COME IN. OH, AND YOU PAY A FORTUNE FOR A PLATE THAT DOES NOT DESERVE THE COST. ‍♀️ Mind you, we got here at 8:30 a.m. which will make you think that the food and place would be fresh and smelling great, well, no. Therefore, I don’t recommend this place. The staff needs to fully maintain this place clean, because again, when you come in, it smells dirty and looks dirty.

I was sad to find out today, as I wanted to stop by for my usual Coffee and Migas Tacos, that unfortunately this location is closing it’s doors permanently. It seems that the unreasonable Covid mandates are still claiming victims in 2022, as if this family-owned and operated restaurant hadn’t already suffered enough, just last year the owner/founder Cody Symington passed and his parents were tasked with the difficult burden of keeping the doors open since. Unfortunately that burden peaked and just yesterday the entire staff walked out on them or simply didn’t show up today. I personally have nothing negative to say about the staff, they always gave me great service, and as someone that waited tables through college and experienced the industry, I understand restaurants, for the most part, don’t just close over night but rather tend to endure a lengthy and arduous struggle, so I can understand reasons for their actions. On the other hand, my heart goes out to the Symington’s, as they’ve been put on the tough spot of having to discontinue part of their late son’s legacy. So now that you know, if you happen to be in the neighborhood or were stopping by for a bite, please be aware, be kind and if it behooves you, show some love which ever way you see fit. This was a great place and today is a sad day. Keep in mind the E Cesar Chavez location is still open.
