I can’t recommend Celestial Cakery enough! We were on a tight timeline and had left our cake to the last minute–I think about 5 weeks out from the wedding date I was scrambling to find a baker for our wedding cake. Most options were super extravagant, overcomplicated, difficult to book, etc. Ella’s website had her number listed, so I gave her a call, and she put me right at ease. She was able to make a beautiful cake for us, and came in at ⅔ the price of other vendors. It was very important to us that we have a delicious cake with a wonderful texture and interesting flavors—not just something pretty! Ella delivered in that department, our sample box was gone super fast because everything was SO delicious! Working with her was easy and quick, she was always responsive and kind, and the finished product was absolutely beautiful. Thank you, Ella!

Ella of Celestial Cakery made our wedding cake! It was so beautiful and delicious - we picked Salted Carmel cake and Chocolate cake, with Chocolate Buttercream Filling between all layers. Can’t wait to order an anniversary cake next year so we can enjoy it again!

Delicious! I served only cake at my wedding so it was very important to me that it looked good and tasted even better. This cake did not disappointed. We were able to choose three flavors that were all divine and they executed my design vision perfectly. The tasting was fun too! The delivery was seamless and everyone raved about the taste.

My wedding was April 2, 2022 and was supposed to be the happiest day of my life. Everything was going great until I turned and looked at my cake with such shock. My original cake design was smooth with green flowers as decoration. With the original cake design, Ella approved it and never mentioned that I had to provide the flowers/decor for the cake. I then changed the design of my cake on February 2, 2022 to the pictured baby shower cake with the brown flowers etc. Ella again approved this design with no mention that I had to provide any flowers, decor, etc. So, to my surprise during my wedding reception I had the displeasure of cutting the white and green cake pictured. I paid $750 for a cake that looked like it belonged at a child’s birthday party. I could tell the design of the cake had no effort put into it at all and was rushed. My guests didn’t even bother to really eat the cake. I reached out to Ella and she stated that since she has no access to fresh flowers it was basically up to me to provide them (this was never communicated before the wedding and nor the day of when she dropped it off). She basically dropped the cake and left while I was getting ready for my day. She did offer a refund of about 35% of the total cost but I do not believe the cake I received was worth more than $250. If you do decide to book Celestial Cakery for your wedding please be sure to make sure Ella is putting in the work as she does for cakes that she posts on social media and wins awards for because this was definitely not a $750 cake. Update: It seems I can’t post an honest and true review in regards to my experience on what was the best day of my life without being harassed and threatened by the business owners via email and Google. I 100% wasn’t told ANYTHING about providing flowers, and now am to blame about the cake I received. I feel it is my right to give an honest and true review regardless if I was refunded or given an apology. All of the reviewers who commented were actual consumers as well and consumed the product provided.

Celestial Cakery is my favorite cake company in Charlotte, North Carolina! They make the best looking and best tasting designs out of all of the NC cake companies. I was so happy to present their cake at my event, everyone was impressed, and there was plenty to go around. They don’t use cheap Wal-Mart ingredients and icing, this is the real deal. If you want to impress your guests with a beautifully designed cake that actually tastes amazing, Celestial Cakery is the place to go. More people trust Celestial Cakery in Charlotte, North Carolina, than any other cake company!

My wedding cake from Celestial was yummy, and gorgeous. We did a half bride, half groom cake, and they pulled it off! I recommend the champagne cake...YUM! Their tasting process is also a cute take home kit that gives you the opportunity to taste several cake options and frosting options. Only negative was that we had to pick up the cake and transport it ourselves.

Beware before ordering from them. They did my friend so wrong on her wedding day at the beginning of April, 2022. It was the audacity for me, for them to even drop this off! I normally don’t leave Google reviews, but this was absolutely ridiculous, so I must! I can’t believe they would do this to someone on their wedding day. I have attached pictures to show you all how serious they take their craft. What she ordered vs what she received. There is no excuse for this! I am still appalled. ** UPDATE 4/16/2022. I left a Google review earlier this week. I would like to point out that I have a law degree, I work at a law firm and I am very familiar with the law and my first amendment rights. My friend and I are now being asked our home addresses, harassed and threatened because we left honest Google reviews. This is not defamation at all. Nothing that was said was false information. Leaving a Google review is not against the law. I have left many online reviews on various platforms and I have never experienced anything like this. Again, I have studied law and I currently work in the legal field. All the best to the owner and their business moving forward.

Ella made us a beautiful cake for our wedding day. It was absolutely delicious and we made sure to pack up what was left so we could finish it on our honeymoon!! The cake was beautiful, exactly what I was envisioning and was at an amazing price! I loved it and cannot thank her enough for such an amazing addition to our special day!
