Hold onto your forks and knives, foodies, because I'm about to slice into the best takeout experience of my year! Let's talk about Cava, the only place that's managed to make me seriously consider setting up a tent on Boylston Street just to be closer to their kitchen. First off, the staff. Oh, the staff! Imagine a dream team of culinary wizards mixed with the charm of your favorite sitcom characters. They're the kind of people who could probably juggle flaming pizzas while reciting Shakespeare, and still ask how your day was with genuine interest. I half-expected them to magically appear in my kitchen offering to help with the dishes! Now, onto the environment. Stepping into Cava is like walking into a hug from your best friend if your best friend was a building. The ambiance is so welcoming, I'm pretty sure the walls whispered, "Welcome home, hungry traveler!" as I walked in. It's the kind of place where the decor isn't just 'on point' – it's conducting a symphony. And the food – oh, the food! The culinary masterpiece that gracefully danced into my takeout bag was nothing short of a flavor ballet. Each bite was like discovering a new reason to be happy. I'm convinced the chef isn't just a cook, but a flavor wizard who casts delicious spells on unsuspecting ingredients. In conclusion, if you haven't ordered from Cava yet, are you even living? This isn't just a restaurant; it's a life experience wrapped in a takeout bag. Go on, give them a try. Your taste buds will write thank you letters.
They must have bots that are inflating the reviews here because there is simply no way this location is above a four stars. I will start by saying that I love Cava. I have been a customer of the brand when they first opened in the DMV. This is definitely the worst location in Boston. The food is always pretty good. However, it doesn’t matter what time of day you come to this location, they are always out of something and the lentils are always hard. Overall theme here is that this location needs management to step in and better supervise. Other Cava’s work as an assembly line and are extremely efficient. They ask if you want a side pita at the beginning and they have them ready to go in the warmer. The employees at this location are disorganized and the service they provide reflects that. It’s really unfortunate as Cava overall is an excellent brand. The employees in Back Bay need to take a field trip to Downtown Crossing to see how Cava’s are supposed to operate.
