this place never disappoints great food and great entertainment.
Food and atmosphere were both outstanding. Service was subpar. Out of 4 dinners order, only 3 arrived. The 4th was delayed significantly and left the 4th diner eating well after the rest of us and taking most of the meal home. Obviously, not the normal experience but still disappointing.
If you like an old fashioned New England Chinese/Polynesian restaurant this is the best one still in existence. I had a dinner plate with General Gau's chicken, pork fried rice and boneless spareribs and it was great. The prices are reasonable, portions large and the service was good too. This place looks like it has not changed since the 80's, but is in good repair and looks well maintained.
Picked up an order for a birthday party. 25 people, the quality of the food was the same if not better than the restaurant experience. The quantity was more than expected. Needless to say we food a new cook for our family events
Fresh tasteful food, with welcoming atmosphere.
Good place for takeout like Chinese food. There are other places that have a better atmosphere and better food. But if you want takeout like food with dine-in experience this is the place for you
Prices were inaccurate on their website, paid $4 extra per item when picking up. Food was mediocre, pork fried rice was good as always, but the pork spareribs were just dilapidated pieces of a pork butt with sparse sauce, and the sauce for the scallion pancakes was as if they reduced an entire 5lb container of salt into a 2oz ramekin. Hope they get back on track, they've always been my go-to when I'm back in town.
