Catch 35

On Friday January 19, 2024 my friend Dorothy and I had a wonderful time dining at Catch 35 for lunch. Our server was Karen, she was OUTSTANDING! She was courteous, engaging, extremely knowledgeable and attentive. The food was excellent and the decor of the restaurant was warm and very inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Went here for Restaurant Week. The menu choices were good, and the food was high quality and tasteful. However, the host at the door did not greet us or the group in front of us when we walked up to him. In fact, he ignored us while talking to another staff member and didn't acknowledge either group with a considerate, "Hi, I'll be right with you." It was an unwelcoming feeling. We were ignored at the bar as well for about 10-15 minutes, trying to get a drink while waiting for our table, although they were not very busy. However, our waitress, Karen, was very friendly and the food came out to our table quickly.

We went for dinner during Chicago Restaurant week. The service is very fast and good seafood place near river walk with good indoor seating space. In the evening, there is live jazz music. We ordered coconut shrimp, Tuna Poke Tostadas for starters. For main course, we ordered twin filet mignon medallions and cedar plank salmon. We have flourless chocolate lava cake and triple threat cheesecake for desserts. Food was good and delicious.

The food was very bland. Carolyn and manager was very accommodating and try to fix it. I'm taking it home to season it. Atmosphere was good. They had live music which was nice.

Excellent service from Eli. Great ambiance and tasty food.

This was the best meal I’ve had in a long time! Coconut shrimp large and flavorful, filet mignon tender juicy and delicious, Brussels sprouts were indeed crispy Caramelized perfection, key lime pie was tangy sweet and light. The Staff was friendly and attentive without rushing. We accidentally left something there and when I called they had already checked and knew we had left it! I went for restaurant week, go before it’s over and if it’s over when you see this go anyway! Oh Sorry I didn’t take pictures but the food presentation was also amazing. Guess you’ll have to see for yourselves!
