nice place to hang out at the curved bar and outside patio. kitsch. bartenders are either very nice or very mean and i like it that way. lots of ladies here and i like that too. large open space for gathering, dancing, or otherwise moving around. Kid-friendliness: this is a bar do not bring your child here.

Apparently if you're of person of color, establishment like this in Austin, but I found one. DO NOT go here at all! Bartender Angela was very rude to my date and I and decided to give her attitudes. After a few drinks, she passed us two waters without us asking, saying we're too loud and decided not to serve us. As we were leaving, you told my date quoting "this is how we do it in South Austin". I'm totally shock at her level of unprofessionalism and cannot believe this is something that exists. Being new to Austin, I will DEFINITELY not recommend

True dive bar. Do not go expecting some yuppy version of a dive bar. However, if you want a stiff drink, good food and an authentic crowd, you know where to go.

Casino South Side has an OG Austin vibe. Love the jukebox and red lighting. Drinks are actually normal prices. Love that they have a parking lot.
