Cozy atmosphere and great food and service

This is the best Spanish place I have visited so far in NYC; the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. I recommend the skirt steak and Paella croquettes. We had the crema catalana for dessert. It was terrific, but it came with battered leaves, which were complicated and weird to eat. The drinks menu is fantastic.

This is a fun little bar with a jovial atmosphere. They serve some very good wine and beer and small plates to share with a Spanish flair. An enjoyable place to have a drink or two.

This restaurant is the worst experience I have ever had in my life. First, when you enter, if you don't want to grab the full menu, they reject you and offer you their bar that is right next door, but the food is terrible. Without a doubt, like the one next door (I still don't understand what Michelin is like) and its employees are very rude and aggressive. I have been visiting NY for many years because of its restaurants and its attention. Definitely, this does not meet what the city offers us. For the first time in my life I have had such an ugly experience. Everything was unpleasant… They treated us very badly! THEY ARE RACIST! The worst restaurant in the city

We absolutely loved every dish (too numerous to list so I assume everything is at the same high level). The service was friendly and was at the perfect level of attentiveness. The ambiance is casual and relaxed. We ate outside on a cool night and were quite comfortable. The wines were well served by the very knowledgeable sommelier. I can’t recommend Casa Mono enough and look forward to returning in the nearest future.

Excellent Spanish restaurant. You feel as if you were in a tasca madrileña. The atmosphere is great. The attention superb and the dishes we tried, all excellent. The navajas, serrano ham, pan tumaca and all seafood are excellent. Good selection of wines. Worth to come back.!

Celebramos el cumple de mi nuera en el lugar que ella había querido regresar y fue muy acertado ir a Monos !!! Toda nuestra selección estuvo deliciosa !!! Duck Breast with Cherry Mostarda and Grilled Endive, clams, arroz negro…. y más. TODO EXQUISITO y excelente atención. Sirven rico pan c EVOO with olives inside… no podíamos parar!!! Cenamos afuera bajo techo. El lugar es pequeño pero muy agradable y tranquilo. Recomendado!!!
