From parking our car the attendant was rude . The atmosphere was pleasant the menu was confusing, chicken marsala was bland ,sauce was greasy ...sorry but i didn't think this was fine dining, maybe the prices should match the contents of the food served. Parking: Handicap parking from a rude valet
OMG Do not miss an opportunity to dine here
Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. Absolutely top notch.
I was so excited to try this place for our first year wedding anniversary, but sadly was very disappointed. The food was fine, but not great (especially for the price point). The atmosphere is nothing special at all. (And you feel a bit crammed in.) I had noted it was our anniversary dinner in the reservation but there was no mention or attempt to do anything special. Rather, we were basically rushed through our meal. They literally took my dinner plate away before I had even taken my last bite. They had us out of the table in less than an hour. Generally speaking, I wouldn’t complain about fast service, but this was rushed and on the one night we really wanted to relax and enjoy a lingering meal and each other’s company. I would definitely not come back for a special occasion. Maybe one day for a glass of wine at the bar, but probably not for food as I did not feel the quality met the price. Parking: Valet or you can park in the big open lot a block away
The best part of the meal last night for our 27th Anniversary was the appetizer and dessert. The main dishes were just okay, nothing special. I had the chicken Ludovico, while it tasted okay it was just one note. My wife had the cod, a bit better. A restaurant is only as good as its chef. The pasta was not handmade and if it was, it wasn't cooked well enough. Don't know if I would go back again, we'll see. It's always booked, as you can tell from the layout, to put as many people in an old house as possible. 2 glasses of house wine, shared app. and main course $75 each, including tip of 20%.
The food is fabulous and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. The food reminds me of the North End in Boston. Such a great feeling when you can find a place in Florida that reminds you of home.
