The waitress Elizabeth gave us terrible service and she charged more than we ate

There are so many variations of Mexican food recipes. I found some I did not care for. Their menudo has no hominy, only upon request. The carne guisada has a funny taste that I can't put my finger on... cloves, anise? The rice is never fully cooked, and the beans taste canned. We've eaten in and ordered takeout. They're good in a pinch but not a first choice.

What happened?! We moved out of the area 6 months ago and the restaurant has been sold or something. Everyone familiar is gone, the food is different, and it’s loud af. We used to eat here weekly and now we don’t recognize the place at all. The saving grace was that the server was really good.

We ordered meat free tostadas the were 6$ each almost no beans nor cheese. Mostly bitter lettuce we ordered avacado on it they said nothing but had none. They then told me the never have avacado. Beware their online menu has half the actual cost. They were under 4$. The shell was stale and not good. Waste of money and time. Not very knowledgeable nor friendly!

Delicious authentic food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Food came out quickly and the music was great. Will come again soon

When we first entered we approached counter to be seated because they said wait to be seated. Then lady approached and said with attitude you can sit anywhere. Ordered the menudo plate they had 5 tripe and soup water. Asked about harmony or other items that usually come with a traditional menudo and was told that it is separate. Man in restaurant gave everyone around us chips and salsa and we had to ask for ours which is traditionally give like breadsticks. Migas plate was very dry and coffee you can really mess up.
