It was closed when we arrived. Very disappointed since the website didn't indicate it was closed. I don't know if they are upgrading or new owners purchased.
Large menu and a wait staff that's friendly and authentic. We've been going to Casa Alegre for years and will continue to do so for as long as they're around. The back patio is great for kids as it's large and enclosed. The live music on Friday and Saturday nights finishes off a good evening. There are even train tracks across the parking lot providing even more entertainment for the kids.
Yikes. Cute little place but I’m not sure how they stay open. The staff was so so nice, but the food…. very *very* salty. Too salty to eat. Just couldn’t even believe it. And the prices were extremely high. And usually when prices are that high ($17-18+ entree) you expect the portions to not be small, but they were smaller than average. 2 average priced entrees and a queso and happy hour margarita was $75 for the two of us. Really disappointing and unfortunate since it’s a neat little place.
Food was very good and wait staff was attentive.
I've been going here for a long time. Every experience is rewarding. The staff is happy, which tells a lot about the company. There are many dishes to enjoy.
The food was outstanding and the service was excellent!
We have been coming here, WAY TOO OFTEN, over the last month. I’m addicted to the Steak Picado, chips and salsa fajitas, and medium house margarita for $10.99 special. The staff is great and welcoming. I highly recommend this little gem right outside of the main street traffic area.
