Cartems Donuts

My favorite donuts in the city. Love the freshness of their seasonal flavors. Most recently I tried the Pina colada donut which has pineapple filling and covered with glaze and coconut shavings. The donuts are all vegetarian and plenty of vegan options. They have baked donuts too. I have tried the cinnamon one and earl grey. The staff is nice and very helpful.

I’ve been enjoying Cartems donuts since they were on Carrall and I’m aware that changes happen.. I’ve remained loyal .. but I’ve noticed with this location that the donuts are always stale af not a little like ALOT I’m not sure if they’re using day-old, which honestly they do taste like they old since I’ve had them before… charging full price is just truly lacking integrity and taking advantage of people when you know that the product isn’t up to standard.

I’ve gotten cartems many times over the years and their classic Earl grey donut is my favourite - it is packed with earl grey flavour. Secondly I would recommend their London Fog or Vanilla Bean. The donuts are not overly sweet and have a great texture (either fluffy or dense depending on the type). They always have new monthly specials and the flavours are creative and unique sometimes (like black sesame or mango). This location particularly I visited recently and the staff are friendly and kind & they even give away samples to try and unsold remaining donuts to customers near the end of the day. Delicious donuts either way but also perfect for my vegan and GF friends / family.

Found it way too sweet it was a simple chocolate coated donut. Wonder if they sell plain donuts would be more my kind of flavour.
