This venue has been around for a long time. The food is good and plentiful, and the service is above average. The only drawback is that the building and inside are definitely showing their age. It could use a makeover. If you come, bring your appetite and be ready to take leftovers home for later.

A friend and I went there for the first time. The diner was ok for the theme. But we both got omelets and hash browns. We it turns out that there cooked it to let the bottom cook. Then fold it and served it so when we took a bit it was white inside and mushy. So we did not eat it. When I asked the waitress about it. She told me if I wanted it all fully cooked it had to ask to have it scatted to have it all fully cooked. As far as I know. Hash Browns needs to be fully cooked all around. So if any one goes there I recommend that you ask to have your hash browns scatted so you get it fully cooked. But at least I was able to eat the omelet. And I paid $60 for food I could not even eat and enjoy. I would recommend that they Don't serve hash browns like that and fully cooked it all.

Huge portions cooked perfectly! We shared a omelette and home fries, I couldn't finish even my half! Ordered the meat lovers scrambled made into a omelette. (Sub toast to French toast)

I have been to the establishments two times I can't remember what I had the first time but it made me want to come back this time I had the chicken fried steak and it was delicious I had their home fries with it they were good but they were cooked too hard and some were burnt but other than that it was a great meal

Good evening everyone. Supporting local family owned restaurants has always been one of my favorite things to do. My experience at this restaurant wasn’t what I expected. As soon as I stepped in the building the smell of old cooking oil completely took over my sense of smell. Regardless of the unappetizing smell I continued to wait to be seated. I was greeted politely and the hostess was very welcoming and seating was quick (5-10 mn wait). I was excited about the large portion the restaurant is known! Once served the platters were picture worthy and the food looked very tasty. I went in for a but only to taste oil. I tried to convince myself that the food was good since the beautiful aesthetics of the food weren’t matching what my taste buds were experiencing. I ended up leaving all the food there and going home. I will never be going back to this restaurant. I hope that this comment is not shoved to this side due to all the other great reviews.

SIZE DOES NOT MEAN EVERYTHING! I really wanted to like Carr’s since I saw a reel reviewing the restaurant. We live so nearby I finally decided to try for breakfast. I first ordered the “garage breakfast”, a huge piece of biscuit with gravy and two eggs. The gravy tasted like a cheap boxed gravy and I immediately returned it. Then I got a simple plate of 1 pancake, two eggs and bacon. Like how can you go wrong with that? The food was completely inedible. The eggs as pictured tasted like nothing but oil. As pictured, the whole plate is covered in oil. The pancake was alright but I ate only 1/4 of it. It was too much and too much butter. My children are good at eating and they had ordered French toast, bacon and eggs and did not touch their plate. They were complaining their bellies ached just with the eggs. The French toast was a big NOPE. I should’ve went with my instinct of leaving when I first entered and it smelled like sushi and oil instead of pancakes and eggs and breakfast. I felt so bad leaving all the food untouched on the table and then having to pay for it. Save yourself the troubles and go elsewhere, I promise you an ihop will not do you this bad.
