Good izakaya! Lively atmosphere with tons of Carps merch and memorabilia on the wall. Service is pretty fast and attentive. We tried the gyoza, fries, karaage chicken, skewer set, tempura set, and okonomiyaki. Everything was delicious. I would definitely go again, especially for the karaage and skewers. A bit pricy, but not more so than the typical izakaya in Honolulu.
Delicious very authentic yakitori - hard to find something like this outside Japan. And great prices. I'll be coming here in every trip to Honolulu. A little off the beaten track, but a pleasant walk along the canal from downtown.
Food and service was great. They were nice to take us in even though they were closing in an hour or less.
The Okinomiyaki was the stand out for me. Hiroshima style is my absolute favourite and this was delicious. We also enjoyed the Hiroshima Carp baseball memorabilia on display.
A perfect place. Quaint izakaya with great, simple food and friendly staff. Almost don't want to review it because it's my spot. Kid-friendliness: Bring the kids!
