First off …THE BEAN DIP. I dream about it and crave it so much! Addicting, and the best nacho bean dip in OC, hands down. I always have a great experience here, I’m so glad to live close to it. Food, Service and Mezcal, are always on point. Bravo, Carmelita’s!

Small restaurant, beautiful outside seating with heat lamps, and good food with drinks.

Amazing food. So flavorful. So delicious. Service was awesome and friendly but not intrusive. Very professional and excellent. The manager… I think his name was Daniel… a bald guy with a rad handlebar mustache greeted us with water within 30 seconds of us sitting. Our waiter… I didn’t catch his name. White guy with brown hair and a mustache… he was really friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Everything came out fast. The bussers and food runners were on point. 10/10 experience. I worked fine dining for 10 years in La Jolla and this whole team blew the best we had to offer out of the water. So grateful for such an excellent experience. Ps get the short rib enchiladas

Parking: It's they bank' s parking but still You can park there for 15 bucks, free time

I’m always looking for a Mexican place that’s not over-the-top… not too crazy to get into, not too expensive etc. I just want a place where I can hop onto the bar, grab a cold beer or a nice Margarita and have some delicious tacos. If you feel the same and you’re around downtown Laguna... this is your spot.
