Carmelina's

We went to Carmelina's for lunch today and were lucky enough to walk in and get a table for two. Within minutes there was a lineup at the door. This was one of the greatest Italian restaurants we have ever eaten at in North America. (we are Italian and yes, we've been to Italy - so yes...it's a big deal) The WOW factor was off the charts and eight hours later I am still dreaming of the Sunday Macaroni. Great cocktails and amazing atmosphere. We travelled from Canada to catch a Bruins game. Will return 100% on our next trip out. THANK YOU!

We are vegetarians and enjoyed the food here. Great veggie pasta and loved their baby eggplant appetizer. Super quick service and friendly staff. It’s better to make reservations.

We enjoyed the lobster ravioli and my son had fettuccine. Both were excellent, although a tad less spice for the ravioli would be my preference. Not at all bad!

Amazing food!! Got the clams and white wine sauce in spaghetti. Food is very fresh. Pasta is best i have had anywhere. Great service, great food, classic rock lightly playing on background. Great italian restaurant vibe. Restaurant is on the small side but hopefully they expand cause it is excellent!

Carmelina’s is hands down one of the best restaurants in the North End. The bread was fresh and tasty. The entree (Crazy Alfredo) was full of flavor. The only minor downside is that it takes a bit of time to get your food. Still, I felt that it was worth the trip. If you only have one meal in the North End, make it at Carmelina’s! Lunch had no wait to be seated but if you're going for dinner, try to reserve in advance because they book out.

This place was my North End white whale, and it absolutely lived up to the anticipation. I'd secured reservations two months in advance for our anniversary, and the wait was entirely worth it. Despite its cozy size, the intimate atmosphere only added to its allure. We kicked off our meal with the Risotto Milanese, which rivaled any I've tasted outside of my girlfriend's kitchen. For our main courses, we indulged in the Frutti di Mare and Wild Mushroom Penne, both of which were outstanding. The portion sizes were generous, enough so that I found myself boxing up leftovers--an uncommon occurrence for me. In sum, Carmelina's exceeded all expectations, delivering on its well-deserved hype. We'll definitely be making reservations here again at the earliest opportunity.

Excellent food, affordable prices, excellent service ! Will come back for sure, this is my 2nd time here.
