Always the friendliest team and the oxtail is delicious and affordable. You can't ask for more in Manhattan. Caribbean King is doing it's part to Make Oxtail Cheap Again
Fresh food excellent service
Noticed that there are other reviews that differ drastically from my own. Food truck was parked outside of Bobst Library (NYU) when I encountered it. I was hungry, moderately tired and needed to eat. So, I figured I'd take a chance--I don't usually do food trucks and the like. SO GLAD I DID! I had the oxtails, beans/rice and plantains. Bruh loaded my plate up, was extremely personable and did everything with a smile. Certainly will be seeing him again!
I was curious as to why there was no line, now I know why. The coconut shrimp is frozen store brought . The plantains were thick cut so the inside was not done all the way. The cole slaw was also store brought and they added frozen corn and carrots which is weird. Never again! This is not real carribean food. Change the name!!
I would love to know what in the bland cabbage i ordered today? Are we catering to the wall street demographic instead of the beautiful island Caribbean delicacy of spices? I was extremely disaffected! And will not return. FYI after stating my complaints to my coworkers regarding the bland untraditional food, several coworkers have said the same (never to return again) and would have warned me if I told them I was going there
Amazing food. Honestly one of the best in nyc. Seasoned to perfection!
Dry dry chicken, the kind that hurts going down. Waste of money, try a different food truck.
