Caribbean Heat Family Restaurant

Man, I can’t count the amount of time I’ve ordered from Caribbean Heat. Not only this one, I’ve ordered in person, over the phone and through delivery services. Lately every time I ordered, either something is missing, the portion size is much smaller for what you pay. And my favourite is the spicy shrimp and I swear it tasted like they deep fried some cardboard, I was scared to eat it and toss it. Even my dog wouldn’t eat that. It was rubbery like squid deep fried. I decided to order again and try their cow foot soup. Didn’t like it. The dessert I order cost so much and the little piece they sent looking like someone ate a piece. I paid for extra chicken on top like I always do. And there was none. They definitely lost a customer, I’m just really grossed out by the so call shrimp they sent me. Must have been crumbs or something it did not look or taste like shrimp and I’m a seafood lover. I’ll definitely not recommend.

Ordered their two lobster special with an order of shrimp fried rice for take out. They gave me a 20 mins pick up time. Surprisingly when I got there the order was ready. The Lobster was really good, the rice was so so, you get a few shrimps on top of the rice. Customer service was good as well, the owner (I presume) was very pleasant. Parking: There is always parking the plaza is not too busy..

For old times’ sake

Steer clear way better options out there for the price. I came today March 10th for combo for one 17 vegetable fried rice and vegetables on top. I normally go to friendship restaurant Victoria park/Sheppard ave East for the same dish and it's a way better deal. Let's compare Carribean heat has combo For one 17 veggie fried rice for $12. Friendship as same dish for only $8.50. Friendship gives me in a large container not small/medium container they don't charge for extra veggie ok top. It's already in the rice and they put chunks of broccoli,cabbage, and carrots. Understand your a business but your robbing for people simpe rice and a few veggies in small container. Don't waste your money or time go elsewhere for say better value of food and way cheaper price than these cooks. Charging me almost $16 for literally rice and few vegetables. Price in today's economy rice is not that expensive ‼️ plus your business so you get it even cheaper than everyday grocery store customer cause u buy in bulk‼️Your crooks‼️

Had the lobster and jerk pork! Both were really delicious! Got some broccoli with my order which was also delicious! I’ll be back for more.

Worst jerk chicken I've had, $18 for one piece of chicken with rice and beans. DO NOT GO HERE, $6 is absolutely the most it is worth

February 2nd, 2024. I have ordered fried rice, chowmein and black pudding. Everything is very tasty . The guy who took the ordered on the phone was really nice and polite. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some tasty Guyanaese Chinese foods. ❤️

Worst food I’ve ever had the rice was burnt. The sweet-and-sour chicken was hard and chewy. The chicken balls had no chicken init. Cost me $70 for three dishes, and it was horrible would not recommend. Several friends have recommended this restaurant and it was my first time trying it and they said the food was good.
