I wish this place the best. I am glad they are around. Still, i have to be honest. I don't know who these people are who are saying the patties here are outstanding. Are you kidding me? "Dem nuh readi!" as we would say in Jamaica. I have tried the chicken and beef flavors over and over hoping that they would improve, but they are just not good. The patty crust is the worse. It's kinda like pie crust. The filling is bland to say the least. You folks who are saying this is good...Really!? I really want the patties here to be good. I keep wishing over the years visiting every now and then to try them but each time I am disappointed. "Dear owners, can you please just make the extra little effort to make authentic Jamaican patties? How hard can it be? Plus you would get a lot more business." A sincere customer.

I'm such a fan of Caribbean American and as a Jamaican the customer service isn't that bad, Americans are just used to people babying/placating to them and that's just not our culture. I've been going there for a year/since I moved to Chicago and look forward to it everytime. I've gone twice this month and yesterday. The patty and Coco bread !!! Flakey and cheesier than usual, the Coco bread was soft and buttery 10/10!

Today 12/23/2023 I was in line waiting to order my food when an older gentleman came back to get an explanation about his bill, the cashier answered the gentleman very disrespectfully using derogatory language even the customers that were waiting in line were shocked and appauled of her behavior. I will have to think twice if I need to go back to this establishment.
